Greetings everyone!

We are going to start accepting paid advertising for the first time on our main web page www.bedardphoto.com
Any ads will be placed near the bottom of the page at this time but I will do my best to make sure all adverts are noticeable.

This is the page that gets the most traffic year in and year out. Although all the links within the page point to our new ordering site on Shutterfly, our main page is where at least 98% of all our traffic comes in from.

Direct link ads or small banner ads will be accepted. Cost will be $10 a month or $100 for 1 year. (save $20!). This is some of the cheapest advertising rates on the internet as websites I have tried to advertise on myself were far more than that.

We take all payments through Paypal. Once an agreement has been reached I will email you directly with our PayPal information.

All inquiries may be made to us at jbedard@bedardphoto.com and we will get back to you within 24 hours most days.

Amazing! It’s another new year and we are looking forward to gearing up this year and bringing our work to the public as we return to the show tours. Last year we basically ended up taking the whole year off from shows, etc with the bad economy and all that. Thank goodness for the wife’s full time job!.

But this year we are indeed planning on doing some shows and whatever else we find to do along the way. We are currently looking at shows in Massachusetts but possibly others in CT, VT, NH.

Stat tuned as sometime between now and April I’ll be posting more details.

Yes, we are getting ready for another road trip / photo shoot. This time we will be heading out to one of our favorite places Cape Cod!

Actually, we love anywhere at the seashore!! We will be there from Tuesday November 10th thru Friday November 13th, possibly Saturday the 14th.

We are hoping for good weather but if not we’ll make the best of it I’m sure. I’ll be also testing out my new 400mm telephoto lens as I try my luck at some bird photography. Always a challenge, but I am hopeful the new lens will be of help.

I’ll try to post an update sometime after our return if we get anything to add to our bird album. So stay tuned!!

New England Photos

That’s right! As of today, we are making more options available including print sizes, and other photo merchandise because we are now connected to Shutterfly! You will find print sizes in 4×6, 5×7, 8×10 & 11×14. These are actual “unmatted” PRINT sizes (no matting, only the print).

Also now available are note cards (boxed set of 12), mugs, puzzles, playing cards, and computer mouse pads!!

As always we will continue to make more photos available as we get them so check our website often!

As mentioned in the post below this one we are heading to NH the weekend of the 19th. So what’s the news?

The news is that we have just cleared the way to set up a table at the open house on the 19th at Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse in New Castle!! The open house runs Saturday the 19th from 1pm to 5pm. (again as always, we will not bring our prints if the weather is rainy or damp)

This will be the first time ever showing our work in New Hampshire!!

The lighthouse will be open for tours during the hours posted above from 1pm to 5pm. The lighthouse is located at the Coast guard station at Fort Constitution in New Castle on route 1B.

A portion of all our proceeds will be donated to the Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse for allowing us to be there that day.

Ok, just a quick note here to let our visitors know we will be on another road trip coming up the 18th-20th of this month!.

Once again we are heading to the Portsmouth area of New Hampshire which is quickly becoming one of our favorite destinations. We’ll be heading out on Friday morning and will start making our way home again on Sunday, most likely doing our usual “slow and roundabout route” out of NH and the northeast corner of Massachusetts before hitting the highway.

Obviously we’ll be dragging along all our photo gear for photo ops along the way.

We’ll post more notes as they come so stay tuned!

Well, it appears we will NOT be attending this weekend’s craft fair on Saturday & Sunday (Aug 29th & 30th) because of the weather. We apologize to those hoping to see us this year. This was our only show this year but we might do something else before the year is over and we will post here on this blog if we will be doing another show!

Our first news on our new blog!

WEATHER PERMITTING! We will be at the following location selling our prints at the arts & crafts fair this coming weekend (August 29th & 30th 2009).

Lilac Park, Lenox, MA from 10am to 4pm both days.

We will have approximately 250 prints available for purchase.

Please stop in if you’re in the area and check out our work in real life! The photos look alot better in person!
